Local car dealer wins trip to Hungary

Gary Hedge, sales executive at Crown Honda Bushey Heath, won a national competition to secure a trip to Hungary following his key role in achieving outstanding sales for Honda’s all-new 2017 Civic.

A member of the Crown team for more than 15 years, Gary’s contribution to 2017 Civic sales topped Honda’s nationwide Civic sales competition and was rewarded with a work-focused trip to Hungary to attend the World Touring Car Championship in Budapest last weekend (12th-14th May).

It proved a great weekend for Honda, as Tiago Monteiro increased his FIA World Touring Car Championship lead with a superb victory at the Hungaroring in the ninth-generation Civic Type-R.

The all-new, British-built 2017 Honda Civic is made in Swindon and exported world-wide. UK customers can choose from either a 129PS or 182PS turbo charged petrol engine. This latest 2017 Honda Civic is the tenth generation and builds on the notable success of past models. It is the result of the largest research and development project Honda has ever undertaken.

Gary commented: “I was ecstatic when I found out I had topped the Civic sales competition. It’s always great to be rewarded for your hard work and a trip abroad to see the WTCC was unbelievable. I hadn’t been to Hungary before so I couldn’t wait. Budapest is a truly beautiful city. The Civic is a fantastic car though, so I guess I have to give it some of the credit!”
