The judges couldn’t separate them, so for the first time we had two winners of the The Danny De Lucia Memorial Award!
Congratulations to Matt & Rob, from all of us at Crown! Commiserations to the 4 other finalists, you all deserved it!

Matt had this to say "Its great to be nominated let alone winning the joint award, I would like to thank the people that nominated me, Danny was highly thought of in the company and I am grateful to be recognised in the same capacity. Congratulations to all the other nominee’s."

And Robin said "It was indeed a privilege to be nominated along with such esteemed colleagues for the Danny De Lucia Memorial Award. Any 1 of us would have been worthy winners. Danny was a very special guy amongst the Crown family, his presence is missed every day plus he is always in our thoughts. I was delighted to be considered, then shocked when announced as Joint Winner along with my colleague Matt. Danny lives in our memories every day, many thanks to all who voted for us both."

The award is held every 6 months in memory of our great friend & colleague, Danny, who passed away in 2021. The award is voted for by the management team for those that are believed to be ‘exceptional’.
