The Honda e:Ny1 marks an exciting next step in the electrification of the Honda range, providing all the benefits of an EV, alongside the versatility, comfort and practicality people want from a compact SUV.
At launch, the Honda e:Ny1 price will be starting from £44,995 for the Elegance model and £47,195 for the Advance model.
All models feature a large 15.1-inch central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument display that combine to offer an extensive suite of driving and infotainment features, including the presentation of advanced EV information, including energy use, and charging status, alongside Android Auto and wireless Apple Car Play.
The My Honda+ app allows users to schedule climate control and remote charging via their smartphone as part of the Core Connectivity package, which is complementary for the first eight years of ownership. The Digital Key package, which enables the driver and up to five others to lock, unlock and start the vehicle via the app, is free of charge for the first year of ownership.
e:Ny1 Elegance - £44,995 OTR
Featuring 18-inch grey alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and an six-speaker audio system. A 15.1 touchscreen display is available across the range, complete with Honda Connect, sat nav, and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto compatibility, alongside a 10.2 inch digital instrument display behind the leather steering wheel.
e:Ny1 Advance - £47,195 OTR
Range-topping Advance models feature full leather seats and a Panoramic Glass Roof with removable shade, heated leather steering wheel, and an additional 4 parking sensors. This Advance grade also comes with premium audio and the new addition of Honda Parking Pilot.
The e:Ny1 uses Honda’s newly-developed e:N Architecture F high-performance front-motor-driven platform, which will be used in B-segment electric vehicles globally. The brand’s latest battery management technology delivers a WLTP range of 412km (256 miles), and fast charging to deliver a 10-80% charge time of approximately 45 minutes. The compact architecture has also allowed for more freedom in packaging with all components housed over the front axle.
The e:Ny1 becomes the latest model to feature the Honda SENSING suite of active safety technologies as standard, employing the brand’s latest camera and sonar technology.
Honda SENSING is among the industry’s most comprehensive safety technology packages. It uses a combination of data from the various camera, radar and sonar sensors to warn and assist the driver in potentially dangerous scenarios.
Honda’s full suite of SENSING active safety technology is fitted as standard across the e:Ny1 range. Driver aids include Collision Mitigation Braking, Blind Spot Information, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition, plus front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera.
To allow customers to buy with confidence, both grades will come with a complimentary Five Year Care Package, which includes: 5 Years Servicing, 5 Year Guarantee (3 Year Manufacturers + 2 Year Extended Guarantee), and 5 Years UK + European Roadside Assistance.
The Safety and Journey package, also complementary for the first year, provides Digital Roadside Support in the event of a breakdown, while Geo Fence technology immediately notifies the owner if their vehicle is moved or travels outside a set area without authorisation.
