Self-Charging Mild Hybrid: Suzuki self-charging Mild Hybrid system provides battery assistance to the petrol engine. Meaning a small electric motor supports the petrol engine when it needs it most, such as during acceleration or going up a hill resulting in lower fuel consumption and less Co2 emitted, when compared to non hybrid cars. There is no need to charge, or change your driving style as the battery charges as you drive for maximum efficiency. Mild Hybrid models gain some additional features that enhance engine responsiveness with increased torque output. This gives a more responsive driving feel during acceleration. Moreover, the electric motor idles the engine and eliminates fuel use during deceleration to further enhance fuel efficiency compared to our previous non-hybrid Suzuki systems.
